Google announced new Android features, coinciding with the March Pixel Drop software update for Pixel phones. Android users can now track lost luggage via Find Hub-compatible tracker tags by sharing a secure link with airlines. The Find Hub app allows users to generate a secure URL to track luggage through airline apps. The link expires after seven days or when the luggage is detected as returned. Participating airlines include Ajet, Air India, China Airlines, and more, with plans to partner with additional airlines.

Other new features include direct location sharing in Google Messages for real-time tracking on maps. Google Play now features a short-form video feed to discover apps easily. The Phone app’s “Calling Cards” feature personalizes contact screens, similar to iPhone’s Contact Poster. Android Auto includes educational games for children aged 3 to 12.

New Pixel features include updates to Circle to Search, adding a “Find the Look” tool to identify outfit pieces and a “Try It On” tool to visualize outfits from various media. The At a Glance widget now provides real-time transit updates, live game scores, and financial watchlist updates. Pixel Watch gains features like phone alerting when left behind, automatic phone locking when out of range, and gesture controls for calls, photos, and workouts.
