Apple has recently refreshed its leadership page to showcase notable shifts within its executive team, emphasizing two important changes and three new appointments.
### Two Changes, Three Additions
At the conclusion of the previous year, Apple revealed the retirement of Lisa Jackson, the Vice President of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives. Following her exit, Katherine Adams, who was previously the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, will take charge of Jackson’s organization until her retirement, anticipated in late 2026. In line with this change, Apple has appointed Jennifer Newstead, a former legal advisor to the U.S. Department of State and the chief legal officer at Meta, as the new General Counsel, effective March 1, 2026.
In the recent update, Apple has officially designated Katherine Adams as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and has included Jennifer Newstead as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
Moreover, Eddy Cue’s title has been revised to Senior Vice President of Services and Health. This adjustment corresponds with Apple’s strategic choice to blend health and fitness into its services division, a decision that follows the retirement of Jeff Williams as COO last year.
Apple has also introduced two new executives: Steve Lemay, who has been named Vice President of Human Interface Design, and Molly Anderson, who assumes the role of Vice President of Industrial Design. Lemay’s appointment follows Alan Dye’s exit to join Meta, whereas Anderson has been leading the industrial design team since 2024.
