According to *Deadline*, season 4 officially begins on September 17, with new episodes released weekly until November 19. The narrative resumes a few years after the happenings of Season 3, with the UBA-NBN merger now complete and the newsroom facing a new surge of turmoil: concealed agendas, corporate maneuvering, and a national atmosphere where the truth becomes harder to pin down.

In addition to Cotillard, Irons, and Harper, this season welcomes newcomers Aaron Pierre and Boyd Holbrook. They will be joining returning cast members such as Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, Nestor Carbonell, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, and Jon Hamm.
