You can now ask Apple Music to create a playlist based on a description. iOS 26.4 introduces a Playlist Playground in beta for Apple Music, using AI to generate a playlist with a title, description, and tracklist from a text prompt. Apple Music also adds a concert discovery feature to find nearby shows with artists from your library and new recommendations. Other updates include full-screen backgrounds for album and playlist pages and a new Offline Music Recognition tool. Apple’s Family Sharing feature now permits each adult to add payment methods for purchases. iOS 26.4 adds eight new emojis, including an orca, trombone, landslide, ballet dancer, and distorted face, and improves keyboard accuracy. New accessibility features include an update to the “reduce bright effects” setting, improved subtitle and caption settings, and a more reliable “reduce motion” setting. macOS 26.4 features a new compact tab bar in Safari and adjustable charging limits to extend battery lifespan.
