Apple has revealed its involvement in the ACM Human-Computer Interaction Conference (CHI) 2026, set to occur from April 13 to 17 in Barcelona, Spain. The technology leader will showcase three important studies emphasizing developments in artificial intelligence, accessibility, and the research that led to the redesign of the AirPods Pro 3.
The studies will highlight Apple’s dedication to user-centered design and innovation. The first study will explore AI-driven user interface generation, investigating how machine learning can improve user experiences by crafting more intuitive and responsive interfaces. The second study will focus on accessibility, showcasing Apple’s continuous efforts to make technology more inclusive for users with varying needs. These demos will provide participants with the chance to experience the product’s enhanced fit, acoustic seal, and Active Noise Cancellation, all stemming from extensive research, including over 10,000 3D ear scans and more than 100,000 hours of user research across various fields such as Human Factors, Biomechanics, Acoustics, and Industrial Design.
