Apple Vision Pro users have recently been granted access to a new MotoGP documentary in Immersive Video, alongside the latest episode of Wildlife, which concentrates on orangutans. Additionally, Apple has unveiled seven more Immersive Video titles that will soon be released, emphasizing the platform’s distinctive capabilities for offering 180-degree entertainment experiences.
The forthcoming Immersive Video roster features:
1. **Experience Paris by The Explorers**: A tour through a three-Michelin-star kitchen, famous towers, and the historic streets of Montmartre.
2. **A Night at the BBC Proms**: Pianist Lukas Sternath’s first performance of Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
3. **Journey to Antarctica to Find Emperor Penguins with CNN**: A scientific mission led by CNN’s Bill Weir, providing close encounters with emperor penguins.
4. **Julaymba from PHORIA**: An immersive experience in a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with waterfalls and lively wildlife.
5. **CORTIS (Color Outside The Lines) from HYBE**: An exclusive look at the new K-pop boy band from BIGHIT MUSIC.
6. **World of Red Bull**: An exhilarating backcountry skiing adventure in Revelstoke, British Columbia.
7. **Elevated**: Guided by Tim Robbins, viewers will rise above Maine’s breathtaking landscapes during the autumn season.
Significantly, with the exception of Elevated, all these forthcoming titles are produced by external organizations. This represents an important advancement for Apple Immersive Video, which has experienced slow content growth since its launch. Apple has been actively encouraging third parties to produce customized videos for Vision Pro, and these initiatives are starting to show results.
Apple has revealed that these films are among the first to use Blackmagic Design’s URSA Cine Immersive camera and are edited with DaVinci Resolve Studio. Blackmagic’s CEO, Grant Petty, conveyed excitement regarding the potential of Apple Immersive Video, underscoring the groundbreaking storytelling possibilities it offers.
As Apple keeps broadening its Immersive Video content collection, Vision Pro enthusiasts are eager to discover what new experiences lie ahead.
