The novels, “Peaceful Remission” and “Wandering,” explore personal relationships within intricate worlds. Nkondo’s design process prioritizes aesthetics over practicality. Like his animations, his comics focus more on visuals than dialogue. The Kickstarter remains active, with books set to ship this summer. Future projects will incorporate more dialogue, offering a new storytelling challenge.
