TL;DR: Walmart has the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box listed for $129.99, while Amazon sellers start at $133. That puts Walmart about $3 below Amazon and $4.89 below market price.
Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box pricing has been fluctuating since the Pokémon TCG’s Mega Evolution expansion launch, with ETBs quickly exceeding MSRP. Walmart sellers are now trying to beat the competition.
As of April 8, Walmart lists the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box for $129.99, down from $149.99. At Amazon, third-party sellers have it starting at $133. TCGplayer’s market price is $134.88, matching the most recent unopened sale. Thus, Walmart is the cheapest, undercutting Amazon by about $3 and TCGplayer by nearly $5.
Ascended Heroes is the most expensive recent trading card game expansion, meaning you’re paying $14.44 per booster pack without considering exclusive extras.
Inside the ETB, you get nine booster packs, a full-art foil promo card, 65 card sleeves, 40 Energy cards, a player’s guide, six damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die, a plastic coin, a collector’s box with dividers, and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live.
Ascended Heroes pulls like Mega Gengar ex ($1,100+), Pikachu ex ($760+), and Mega Dragonite ex ($690+) indicate that even slightly discounted ETBs will sell out quickly. We recommend buying at this new best price while possible.
For more Ascended Heroes boosters, buy the Pokémon TCG First Partners Deluxe Pin Collection for just over market price. The latest expansion, the Pokémon TCG Perfect Order Booster Bundle, is around $43 at Walmart.
