AT&T has confirmed to The Verge that it will be increasing prices on all its home internet plans. Here are the complete details regarding who is affected, and to what extent monthly prices will rise.
### AT&T is increasing internet fees by $5/month across all its plans
Beginning **December 1, 2025**, AT&T home internet customers will experience a hike in their monthly fees. Every home internet plan will see an increase of **$5/month**.
Sean Hollister reports for The Verge that he received an email regarding the forthcoming increase, prompting him to contact AT&T. The company then confirmed that the rise is extensive: “the new price adjustment will be applicable to all AT&T Internet plans.”
AT&T representative Jim Kimberly provided the following statement:
> “As we strive to cater to the changing demands of our business and manage rising operational expenses, we’re revising our internet plan rates to continue delivering the high-quality service our customers deserve.”
If you enrolled in the past year, you will not be affected this time. However, it is likely that you won’t have to wait too long before facing another wave of increases.
According to Hollister, AT&T has consistently raised its monthly prices by $5 each year for the last few years—at least for certain customers.
