iOS 26.4 Unveils Three Unique Customization Options for iPhone Users

# iOS 26.4: Enhanced Customization Options for Your iPhone

iOS 26.4 is about to be released and will bring a range of innovative features, particularly emphasizing customization possibilities for iPhone users. Here’s an in-depth look at what is new in this version.

## 1. ‘Reduce Bright Effects’ Lowers Flashy Design Features

For users who feel the Liquid Glass design of iOS 26 is too intense, the new ‘Reduce Bright Effects’ option provides a solution. This feature can be found under Settings ⇾ Accessibility ⇾ Display & Text Size. By activating this toggle, users can lessen highlighting and flashy effects when engaging with on-screen components like buttons or the keyboard. This setting caters to those who favor a more understated interface.

## 2. Automate Various iPhone Battery Charge Settings

iOS 26.4 brings an improved battery feature named ‘Charge Limit,’ enabling users to set a maximum charge threshold between 80% and 100% to prolong battery longevity. The update features a new action in the Shortcuts app called ‘Set Battery Charge Limit,’ which can be incorporated into different shortcuts. This function allows for automation based on various conditions, such as location or network type, letting users effortlessly tailor their charging routines.

## 3. Personalize Video Subtitle Appearances

The default video player in iOS 26.4 now offers the option to personalize subtitle appearances. Users can select from multiple styles, including Classic, Large Text, Outline Text, and Transparent Background. Furthermore, a ‘Manage Styles’ button facilitates additional customization, directing users to the Accessibility menu where they can modify subtitle display to their preference.

With these new functionalities, iOS 26.4 seeks to improve user experience by offering greater control over device aesthetics and usability. Whether or not you plan to take advantage of the new customization options, these updates highlight Apple’s continual dedication to enhancing user accessibility and personalization.

Peacock Introduces AI Andy Cohen for Continuous Bravo Clip Narration

When you open your Peacock mobile app this summer, you might see a portal leading to the AI likeness of TV host Andy Cohen on your homepage. Epic Attributes Fortnite V-bucks Price Hike to Operating Costs

Epic Games announced this week that Fortnite’s in-game V-bucks currency would be getting more expensive with a somewhat glib statement: “The cost of running Fortnite has gone up a lot and we’re raising prices to help pay the bills,” the company wrote. The price hike will go into effect on March 19th, the same day […]

ChatGPT and Claude Evolve from Chatbots to Engaging Learning Resources

This week, both Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s ChatGPT were upgraded to incorporate learning through interactive visualizations. These updates illustrate the progression of AI from the early chatbot stage to a more developed and useful form.

## ChatGPT Introduces Interactive Learning Functionality

On Tuesday, OpenAI published a blog entry titled “New ways to learn math and science with ChatGPT,” detailing how users can “delve into concepts with interactive visual explanations.”

OpenAI conveyed, “Today, we’re enhancing the learning experience in ChatGPT by making it more interactive with new dynamic visual explanations. Beginning with over 70 essential math and science topics, ChatGPT will assist learners by demonstrating how formulas, variables, and relationships function in real time. These interactive experiences will be accessible globally across all plans starting today.”

Now, when a user queries ChatGPT about a core subject, it can clarify it and provide an interactive visual module. Users can modify variables, manipulate formulas, and see immediately how those adjustments impact graphs and results—transforming abstract equations into hands-on experiments.

OpenAI emphasizes specific areas of expertise for ChatGPT’s interactive learning capability, which is particularly beneficial for high school and college students. The subjects include binomial square, Charles’ law, area of a circle, circle equation, compound interest, cone surface area, cone volume, Coulomb’s law, volume of a cylinder, degrees of freedom, difference of squares, exponential decay, Hooke’s law, kinetic energy, lens equation, linear equation, Ohm’s law, period–frequency relation, potential energy, PV = nRT equation, Pythagorean theorem, slope–intercept form, surface area of a sphere, area of a triangle, trig angle sum identity, among others.

While OpenAI is initially focusing on math and science, there are plans to broaden the range of subjects in the future.

## Claude is Adopting Visual Responses

In parallel, Anthropic announced on Thursday that Claude will transition away from primarily using text responses. Instead, the AI chatbot has acquired the ability to generate interactive charts, diagrams, and visualizations.

Anthropic stated, “Last fall, we introduced Imagine with Claude: a novel method for Claude to produce visuals in real time, without any coding. We’re now rolling out a version of this feature, in beta, to Claude’s chat interactions. Claude can generate custom charts, diagrams, and various visualizations inline in its replies—and can adjust and refine its creations as the dialogue unfolds.”

This new functionality is enabled by default, allowing Claude to autonomously determine when to employ visual responses.

Both chatbot enhancements showcase how these AI systems are evolving and transcending the text-only interface that sparked the current large language model revolution.

Nvidia’s CEO Outlines Three Arguments Against Establishing AI Data Centers in Outer Space

the continuous demand for additional space, energy, and technology to establish these massive AI facilities, SpaceX’s CEO Elon Musk indicated in 2025 that AI computers located in outer space would represent the most cost-effective solution within five years, indicating a significant shift in future technology. Musk’s forecast probably aligns with SpaceX’s goals; however, Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, is considerably more reserved about this timeline. In the latest earnings report from the company, Huang remarked that the current economic conditions are problematic for space-based data centers, “but it’s going to improve over time.” Huang points out that space itself differs significantly from life “down here.”

These aren’t the sole factors behind Huang’s skepticism regarding extraterrestrial data centers; the expenses associated with departing Earth remain prohibitively high, the speed at which one can replace a faulty component in an AI data center would be much slower, and developing an effective cooling strategy could prove to be more difficult than anticipated. Nevertheless, the Nvidia executive isn’t dismissing the possibility of relocating AI data centers into space, but we may be much further from that reality than Elon Musk envisions.

Cooling AI data centers in space is more challenging than you might think
