Avaota F2 – Allwinner V861 RISC-V SBC Aims at AI Cameras with PTZ and Audio Features

2 Min Read

The Avaota F2 SBC is the first to be built around the Allwinner V861 dual-core 64-bit RISC-V SoC, which features 128MB of on-chip DDR3 memory, 4K camera support, an H.265 video codec, and a 1 TOPS AI accelerator.

This new model updates the earlier Avaota F1 camera board featuring an Allwinner V821 SoC. The F2 SBC, an open-source hardware product, boasts enhanced capabilities such as Full HD and 4K camera sensor compatibility, motor control for PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) features, and expanded audio support through one speaker and two microphone connectors. Notably, the Avaota F2 lacks the WiFi present in the F1 version.
