After an eerie teaser, a full trailer is now released for A24’s *Backrooms*, Kane Parsons’ feature-length adaptation of his viral YouTube series, originally inspired by a 4chan creepypasta.
In the video, a man (Chiwetel Ejiofor) discovers a doorway to what seems like another dimension in a store’s basement. This leads to an exploration of a dreadful yellow liminal space with cavernously large or nightmarishly small rooms that may not be empty.
*Backrooms* features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell.
*Backrooms* hits theaters on May 29.
