Nintendo is expanding the Switch 2’s game library through various channels. Following a February Direct and a Pokémon-centered event last week, Nintendo has returned with an indie game showcase. A notable highlight was the announcement that “Blue Prince”, an engaging puzzle game, will be released on the Switch 2 and available later today. Other revealed titles may not have the same recognition but offer diversity. This includes “Denshattack”, a Dreamcast-inspired skateboarding game mixed with trains, launching on June 17th with a demo available today on the eShop and Steam. Additionally, “My Little Puppy” follows a dog exploring the afterlife, suggesting a darker twist, and will be available on May 29th. Other showcased games are: party game “Heave Ho 2” (summer), action-RPG/shop management hybrid “Moonlighter 2” (2026), charming puzzle game “Woodo” (summer), shooter “Minishoot’ Adventures” (today), horror game “The Midnight Walk” (March 26th), brawler “Rotwood” (today), adventure “Mixtape” (May 27th), dungeon crawler “Blighted” (fall), sci-fi shooter “Deadzone: Rogue” (March 17th), and photography adventure “Toem 2” (summer). Though brief, the presentation packed a variety of intriguing games, vital for the Switch 2’s development. This week also sees the release of Pokémon spinoff “Pokopia”, yet the first-party lineup is limited. Emphasizing third-party and indie games, Nintendo fills its schedule as fans await its next major exclusive.
