Apple enthusiasts frequenting the company’s renowned Fifth Avenue store in New York experienced a surprise this week: following a discussion panel on [Apple TV+](https://tv.apple.com/channel/tvs.sbd.4000?itscg=30200&itsct=tv%5C_box%5C_link&at=1000l3cvR) hit show Severance, Apple CEO Tim Cook and actor Brad Pitt took to the stage to promote the forthcoming Apple Original Film [F1 The Movie](https://apple.co/4jFGPYe).
Their appearance came after an earlier panel at the store, featuring cast members from [Severance](https://apple.co/4mI15ey), engaged in a dialogue moderated by Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner. Actors Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Dichen Lachman, and Jen Tullock talked about the show’s second season, which has recently wrapped after a long wait following its Emmy-winning debut.
## Back to F1
Pitt, who leads the racing drama set to premiere in theaters and IMAX on June 27, welcomed the audience together with Cook and referred to F1 The Movie as the “most intense racing film ever created.” Cook seized the moment to emphasize the significance of iPhone camera technology in capturing the film’s fast-paced, in-car footage.
The visit concluded with a presentation of the film’s latest trailer, offering attendees a preview of the action-packed, IMAX-focused cinematography that Apple and Warner Bros. are relying on to attract viewers.
F1 The Movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski ([Top Gun: Maverick](https://apple.co/4jfUB3x)), and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer ([Remember The Titans](https://apple.co/3SEFgyC)) and Lewis Hamilton, showcases Brad Pitt as a seasoned Formula 1 driver making a remarkable comeback to the sport. The film was filmed during actual Grand Prix weekends to add extra realism to the racing sequences.
