Google is distributing a new series of AI improvements for every Chromebook Plus device, coinciding with the debut of the latest Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14.

Every Chromebook Plus device, not only those from Lenovo, is receiving the AI update. According to Google’s blog, a newly introduced “Select to search with Lens” feature allows you to long-press on anything visible on your screen to immediately search for it. This feature is useful if you encounter something appealing while browsing, such as stylish sneakers or an unknown plant.

Moreover, “Text capture” swiftly extracts information from images such as receipts or notes and converts it into editable text. It can even transform event invites into calendar entries or recipes into Google Docs shopping lists.
