OpenClaw debuted a few months back, yet we’ve already noted several compact implementations and some mini PCs come with OpenClaw pre-installed. Recently, CIX introduced the ClawCore Armv9.2 CPU family tailored for OpenClaw.
The ClawCore series includes three main SKUs:
1. **ClawCore-P** (“Powerful Claw”) – A high-performance CPU with 12 cores at 3.2GHz, Immortalis-G720 GPU, 45 TOPS AI compute, supporting up to 64GB LPDDR5 RAM. It targets high-parallelism, large-capacity scenarios, available from March 2026.
2. **ClawCore-A** (“AI/Smart Claw”) – Features an octa-core CPU at 3.0GHz, 80 TOPS AI compute (expandable to 200 TOPS with PCIe AI card), up to 64GB LPDDR5. It is designed for continuous use with full-chain ECC, hardware security, and a hybrid local/online inference reducing model token costs by up to 50%. It handles large models (27B or up to 120B in collaboration), launching in June 2026.
3. **ClawCore-E** (“Efficient Claw”) – This variant combines an Armv9.2 CPU with an NPU, featuring voice/network wake-up for on-demand use, targeted at edge/IoT devices, expected by December 2026.
ClawCore-P shares specs with CIX P1, including 12 Armv9.2 cores and a 3.2 GHz max CPU frequency, differing from the P1’s advertised 2.8 GHz. ClawCore-P PCs and workstations are due soon, with ClawCore-A projected shortly after.
CIX will also provide software support with five key components:
– **Open AI Agent Hub:** A developer-sharing platform for models and skills.
– **Integrated delivery:** Chips integrate OpenClaw framework and optimized models.
– **Smart collaboration:** Connecting Agents across systems for collective intelligence.
– **Security mechanisms:** Hardware encryption to secure AI agents.
– **Optimization:** Reducing power consumption for 24/7 operation devices.
Driver developers will receive an SDK to aid in developing for Arm SystemReady platform, compatible with Windows, Android, Ubuntu, Tongxin/UnionTech, and Kylin OS.
Information from Anue indicates partnerships with Alibaba Cloud, Iluvatar CoreX, and Houmo.AI. Hardware releases from brands like Sixunited, Xunlong Software (Orange Pi), Radxa, and Meigao include laptops, boards, and AI NAS.
