However, the Ultra-inspired design may not resonate with all Classic enthusiasts, as it strays from the iconic circular format that has characterized the Classic series. There are whispers that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will sport a squircle chassis, making it bulkier than its forerunner, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Additionally, it will come equipped with three hardware buttons, including one that can be customized for specific actions.
The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is predicted to feature a 1.5-inch display, akin to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which boasts a Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480×480 for the 47mm model. The upcoming iteration is likely to introduce sophisticated health features powered by a new BioActive sensor, and it may operate on the Exynos W1000 processor, which provides better performance compared to the earlier Exynos W930 chip in the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
Set to debut with Wear OS 6, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic could be the inaugural smartwatch to utilize this platform, and it will include Samsung’s Gemini integration for enhanced voice assistant functionalities. While the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic offers numerous enhancements, its new design may not appeal to every Classic follower, who might still favor the more conventional style of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
