Denon has recently broadened its multiroom speaker collection with three new additions: the Home 200, Home 400, and Home 600, starting at a price of $399. These speakers are aimed at rivaling Sonos, enabling users to connect as many as 64 devices throughout their residences for a unified audio experience.
The Home 200, priced at $399, is a wireless intelligent speaker that offers rich stereo sound and engaging Dolby Atmos Music. It operates on HEOS, which allows for centralized app-based streaming and control, facilitating easy setup and suitability for any environment.
The Home 400, retailing for $599, enhances the auditory experience with Dolby Atmos Music, delivering expansive sound that captures every nuance. It incorporates built-in dual height speakers, adding a vertical element to the soundstage, while HEOS streamlines both setup and streaming.
At the premium end, the Home 600 is available at $799 and features a custom-designed eight-driver array, inclusive of built-in subwoofers and height speakers. This model produces comprehensive, detailed audio that fills larger areas, with each driver equipped with its own amplifier for precise control and balance.
Denon has also placed emphasis on the visual appeal of these speakers, crafting them to integrate seamlessly with home design. They come in stone and charcoal color variants, seeking a warmer, more inviting aesthetic compared to conventional tech devices.
Regarding specifications, the Home 200 boasts three 0.98-inch tweeters and a 4-inch woofer. The Home 400 features two 0.75-inch tweeters, two 5.5-inch woofers, and six amplifiers, alongside two upward-pointing drivers. The Home 600 is outfitted with dual 6.5-inch woofers, two tweeters, two mid-range drivers, and two upward-pointing drivers.
