The Stream Deck Plus XL now features 36 LCD buttons instead of eight, and includes six customizable dial controllers. After expanding its Stream Deck into a model for professional broadcast environments in 2024, Elgato has upgraded the three-year-old Stream Deck Plus. The Stream Deck Plus XL is similar to the original, offering more macro buttons, more dials, a larger touchscreen, and a bigger size. It costs $150 more, priced at $349.99, while the original Stream Deck Plus remains at $199.99.

The original Stream Deck Plus had fewer buttons than the standard model but provided enhanced functionality via four extra dial controls and a touchscreen. These dials allowed users to fine-tune settings such as volume or gain by also serving as buttons. The Stream Deck Plus XL maintains the same LCD buttons with membrane switches, expanding to 36 buttons from eight, and adds two more dials for a total of six. Its touchscreen extends across all knobs. Although it occupies more space, it offers over twice the number of buttons as the smaller version without the need to combine multiple standard Stream Decks.
