On Wednesday, Facebook revealed its “Creator Fast Track” program to assist creators in expanding on the platform with assured pay and enhanced content reach. The company announced a payout of nearly $3 billion in 2025 through its monetization initiatives, marking a 35% increase from the previous year.
The goal of the program is to attract creators from other platforms to post on Facebook, offering increased reach on eligible Reels to accelerate follower growth, along with three months of guaranteed pay for sharing Reels on Facebook.
Eligible creators can earn $1,000 per month if they have at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, and $3,000 per month if they exceed one million followers on any of these platforms.
The program provides immediate access to Facebook’s content monetization tools without needing to meet the usual minimum follower requirements, allowing continued earnings post-program.
Yair Livne, VP of Creator Product at Facebook, emphasized addressing creators’ hesitations about starting from scratch on Facebook. Facebook intends to support creators even if it takes longer than three months to build their audience. The monetary bonus is temporary, but reach boosting will continue until creators find their audience.
Livne highlighted that creators don’t need exclusive content to meet the program’s conditions, welcoming previous content. The initiative addresses feedback from established creators.
The announcement included the fact that the number of creators earning more than $10,000 annually grew by over 30% year-over-year, with 60% of Facebook’s payout last year going to reels, and the rest to Stories, photos, and text posts.
Facebook plans to introduce new metrics for creators to understand earnings better. The “qualified views” metric will show potential earnings-eligible views, with explanations for non-qualified views and steps to improve future earnings.
