Fitbit has launched a new Device Settings page for its companion app, bringing it closer in design to the Pixel Watch app’s interface. This enhancement seeks to establish a more unified experience throughout Google’s wearable ecosystem. Users will now see essential information including watch face, battery level, sync time, and connection status clearly presented at the top of the settings page, accompanied by a “Sync now” button for quick updates.

The updated layout showcases organized cards for Watch Faces, Apps, and Tiles, preserving their functionality while delivering a more polished appearance. The primary settings menu has also received an update, featuring sections like Notifications, Device Preferences, Google Services, Fitbit Reminders & Alerts, Tips & Support, System, and Smart Features such as Alexa and on-wrist calls.

Alongside the settings overhaul, Google is getting the Fitbit app ready for a Material 3 Expressive redesign. This will include improvements such as a floating action button for Gemini and a more efficient toolbar for toggling between Day, Week, Month, and Year views. Recent updates have additionally enhanced various other aspects of the app, such as sleep tracking and health metrics, offering users a more integrated and user-friendly experience.
