We have received the GEEKOM A5 Pro 2026 Edition mini PC for review. It is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 7530U, 16GB dual-channel DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Windows 11 Pro PC includes HDMI 2.0, USB-C with DisplayPort, 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB ports.
Our review will start with specifications, unboxing, and teardown, followed by our hands-on experience with Windows 11 Pro and Ubuntu 26.04.

Unboxing
The PC is packaged under the “GEEKOM A Series Pro.” The package confirms our model and specs: AMD Ryzen 5 7530U, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD.
It includes the PC, power adapter, power cord, HDMI cable, VESA mount, user guide, and a thank you card. The front panel features USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a power button.
The rear panel includes DC jack, USB-C ports, HDMI, 2.5GbE jack, USB ports, and ventilation.
The PC has side ventilation, an SD card reader, and similar enclosure as the previous GEEKOM A5.
Teardown
To access the internals, remove rubber pads and screws, then the bottom cover and metal plate. Inside, you’ll find DDR4 SODIMM modules and an M.2 SSD with a thermal pad. The model has a Wooposit 1TB SSD and two 8GB RAM modules.
Additional features include an M.2 SATA socket and AzureWave Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module. The GL3590 USB hub is also present.
There is an unpopulated SATA connector absent in the A5 Pro 2026 Edition.
First Boot
