Following the successful launch of Gemini’s screen automation capability on the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, Pixel 10 users in the U.S. can now take advantage of this groundbreaking technology. This functionality enables Gemini to execute tasks such as ordering food, arranging rides, and making grocery purchases without user involvement. The accessibility of this feature is based on the user’s subscription level, allowing free users around five requests per day and Ultra subscribers up to 120 requests per day.
First presented at the Galaxy Unpacked event in February 2026, Gemini’s screen automation was termed “next level automation” by editor Nick Sutrich after an experiential demonstration. The feature is now operational across the entire Pixel 10 range, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, all operating on Android 16 QPR3 stable.
To enable the feature, users can press the power button or utilize the “Hey Google” command. Gemini assists users through tasks in a virtual interface, allowing them to regain control at any moment and needing final validation prior to completing actions. At present, the feature is compatible with applications such as Lyft, Uber, Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash, and Starbucks, with Gemini able to ask follow-up questions for precise order specifications.
The expansion of Gemini’s screen automation to additional Android devices signifies a major advancement in AI-enabled automation, with expectations for further geographical growth.
