Georgia Claims Elon Musk’s America PAC Violated Election Law

The political action committee distributed absentee ballot applications that were partially pre-filled.

Elon Musk, despite his vocal criticisms about voter fraud, has been found in violation of US election laws. His America PAC was reprimanded by the Georgia State Election Board for distributing pre-filled absentee ballot applications. Georgia law bans unauthorized individuals from sending absentee ballot applications with the elector’s pre-filled details.

Residents in Chattooga, Cherokee, Coweta, Floyd, and Whitfield counties reported receiving such pre-filled applications from America PAC. These applications also failed to clarify that they were not official ballots and were not issued by the government as required by law.

During the State Election Board meeting on February 18th, the panel quickly issued a reprimand. America PAC neither sent a representative nor submitted any defense.

This is another instance of Musk challenging election laws. Previously, he suggested paying people for signing petitions and registering to vote in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and other swing states. It highlights a recurring theme where those purportedly focused on election integrity are found skirting legal boundaries.
