Google’s Chief Product Officer for Home and Nest, Anish Kattukaran, addressed user frustrations on X (formerly Twitter) this week and promised a resolution. “I want to acknowledge the recent feedback about Google Assistant reliability on our home devices,” Kattukaran stated. “I sincerely apologize for what you’re experiencing and feeling!”
“We hear you loud and clear and are dedicated to rectifying this — and ensuring we implement a long-term fix that enhances reliability and functionality,” Kattukaran elaborated. “We have been diligently working on significant upgrades for some time and will have more updates in the autumn.”
