Pixel 10 users can now utilize Circle to Search to analyze an outfit and search for individual items.
Google is introducing several new features to Pixel phones with the latest March update, including enhancements for the Gemini AI assistant, which can now perform tasks like ordering groceries or booking rides. This capability, initially showcased at Samsung’s Unpacked event, is now available for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Gemini’s new feature allows it to perform tasks in “select” apps like Uber and Grubhub, while you maintain control over its activities. This feature is also being released for Samsung S26 phones, preceding similar functions for Siri, which have faced delays.
Google is enhancing Circle to Search, allowing users to search for items onscreen by drawing a circle. Pixel 10 users can now break down an outfit and search for individual pieces, and even virtually try the look.
Magic Cue is being updated to offer suggestions based on context in various apps. It will provide restaurant recommendations based on preferences when prompted, and is available on Pixel 10 devices in “select” regions. The update includes a new “comfort” view to reduce eye strain from bright colors.
Older Pixel phones are receiving updates too. Pixel 8 and newer can use a desktop experience when connected to an external display. Pixel 7 and newer gain At-a-Glance widget updates for commute information. Pixel 6 and up now support a Now Playing app for music identification, AI-generated app icons, and ways to view sports scores and stock prices on lockscreens.
