Gemini 3.1 Flash Live enhances AI audio performance in Search Live by delivering faster and more natural responses. Google is expanding Search Live, a feature allowing voice and camera-activated searches, to over 200 countries and territories in numerous languages. Initially launched broadly in the US, Search Live utilizes Google’s new multilingual Gemini 3.1 Flash Live AI model for its global rollout, improving response speed and conversational quality. Users can access the feature via the Google app on Android or iOS or through Google Lens. Additionally, Google is expanding Translate’s real-time translation on iOS to more countries, allowing users to capture speech in real time and hear translations through headphones.
