Magento and Adobe Commerce sites are currently under threat, but a resolution is being developed. Hackers have infiltrated numerous online e-commerce sites using the Magento and Adobe Commerce platforms. This recent cybersecurity issue, dubbed ‘PolyShell,’ was first reported by security firm Sansec. Since its disclosure, 56% of affected stores have experienced attacks. The exploit involves hackers embedding a credit card skimmer into the Magento platform’s API. A patch has been made available in the beta version of Adobe’s software, but the majority of sites that run the non-beta version remain at risk. Adobe’s official response is awaited for further updates.
