Apple has recently launched a new set of betas for the ongoing iOS 18 software progression: iOS 18.6 and others have been updated to beta 3.
### Current iOS 18.6 Beta and Additional Releases Now Available
This autumn, Apple is set to unveil significant new iterations of its various software platforms. iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, and others will debut this fall, featuring fresh functionalities, a Liquid Glass redesign, and additional enhancements.
However, the next upgrade for your iPhone is arriving even sooner. Apple is actively beta testing not only its major releases for the fall but also upcoming updates such as:
– iOS 18.6
– iPadOS 18.6
– macOS Sequoia 15.6
– visionOS 2.6
– watchOS 11.6
– tvOS 18.6
These updates are anticipated to roll out in the coming weeks and are, at least for now, minimal in terms of new features. Nonetheless, Apple’s primary goal with these releases is to ensure the highest stability possible for these updates.
Not every user will transition to iOS 26, and certain iPhones lack the capability to do so. iOS 18.6 is predicted to be the final significant update prior to iOS 26, and therefore, the focus is on stability rather than innovation.
