The forthcoming gaming application will act as a primary center for numerous gaming-related functionalities, such as achievements, leaderboards, and beyond, effectively superseding Game Center. It will also showcase content from the App Store and will be integrated with Apple Arcade, ensuring a fluid experience for gamers.
Alongside its iOS availability, the gaming application will be accessible on Mac, enabling users to enjoy games obtained outside of the App Store. This cross-platform capability is expected to amplify the gaming experience for Apple users.
Sources indicate that the application will encompass several tabs, including a “Play Now” tab, which will present editorial content and game recommendations.
