Apple is preparing to reveal the iPhone 17 series soon, and prior to this announcement, leaker Majin Bu has disclosed fascinating information about a new case option from Apple, which features some surprising design modifications.
Majin Bu has been consistently detailing what can be anticipated from Apple’s iPhone 17 case lineup. Among the expected options are silicone cases with lanyard holes, a novel TechWoven premium fabric, and a Crossbody Strap attachment. These revelations offer a sneak peek into Apple’s newest accessory advancements.
The latest rumor suggests that the Apple Clear Case for the iPhone 17 Pro will see several design alterations. Initially, two variants are set to be launched, with a possible third variant anticipated in the future.
One of the key alterations is the incorporation of dual hole cutouts at the bottom of the case, enabling support for the Crossbody Strap and additional lanyard accessories. This feature enhances the functionality of the case, appealing to users who favor hands-free solutions.
Another notable change pertains to the back of the Apple Clear Case, which will not be completely see-through. Instead, it will showcase a partially transparent design that partially conceals the back of the iPhone. The existing model has a white section for the MagSafe attachment, while the forthcoming version will present a larger white area accentuated by an Apple logo. This logo is thoughtfully positioned to maintain visual harmony, though the design may seem unconventional.
Furthermore, Majin Bu has indicated that Apple has tested tinted versions of the Clear Case. While these tinted choices are not anticipated to launch alongside the primarily clear variant, there is a chance they may be introduced as seasonal or limited editions at a later date.
As excitement mounts, Apple has announced its significant fall event for September 9, under the theme “Awe dropping.” At this event, four new iPhones, at least two new Apple Watches, and possibly new AirPods Pro are expected to be announced. Coverage of the event will be provided by 9to5Mac’s Chance Miller and others, ensuring fans receive timely information about the latest Apple offerings.
