JBL has launched the On-the-Go 2 Plus, an update to its PartyBox Bluetooth speaker line, featuring the innovative JBL EasySing wireless microphone. This microphone incorporates an algorithm that enhances pitch and eliminates vocals from tracks, making karaoke more enjoyable. The On-the-Go 2 Plus, which can now be preordered for $419.95 with availability expected on April 5th, boasts improved sound with a 5.25-inch woofer, two 20mm silk-dome tweeters, and extended battery life of up to 15 hours. Its portable design includes a comfortable handle and shoulder strap, as well as Auracast support for synchronizing multiple units and interactive RGB LED lighting.
The EasySing mic, a highlight of the On-the-Go 2 Plus, connects via a USB-C dongle and uses JBL’s EasySing Algorithm to decrease or completely remove vocal tracks, while its Voice Boost feature refines live singing by reducing noise, adding reverb, and correcting pitch. It can last up to 10 hours on a single charge.
Moreover, JBL’s EasySing microphones can be separately acquired in a two-pack for compatibility with other JBL party speakers, including the JBL PartyBox 720. This two-pack is available for preorder at $199.95, with availability starting April 12th. Additionally, a mini wearable version of the EasySing Mic is offered for $179.95, open for preorder with shipping starting May 10th.
