“Last One Laughing UK” returns for a second season on Prime Video, hosted by Jimmy Carr. The show pits 10 comedians in a room for six hours, and the only rule is: if you laugh twice, you’re out. The new season features David Mitchell, Mel Giedroyc, Alan Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Sam Campbell, Diane Morgan, and Bob Mortimer.
Carr and co-host Roisin Conaty watch from the control room, occasionally phoning in joker card tasks, where comedians must perform mini stand-up routines. The antics create a fast-moving variety show atmosphere.
“Last One Laughing UK” is reminiscent of “Taskmaster,” featuring silly and surreal challenges like Bob Mortimer arm wrestling David Mitchell or performers sharing their biggest regrets. The no-laugh rule adds a constant tension, with giggles always just under the surface.
Season 2 introduces surprise guests, with presenter Richard Madeley conducting awkward interviews. The season includes six episodes, with five already released and the finale available soon. “Last One Laughing UK” Season 2 is streaming now on Prime Video.
