Leak of Pixel 10 Series Pricing Unveils Unexpected Price for a Certain Model

Are you and your wallet prepared for a new Pixel series?

What you should know

– A leak regarding the Pixel 10 series suggests potential pricing for users, such as a possible $2,149 1TB Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
– Other speculation indicates that the Pixel 10 Pro XL may eliminate its 128GB option, implying that its starting price could be around $1,199 for the 256GB variant.
– Google’s official teaser for the Pixel 10 emphasizes its anticipated launch on August 20 during the event.

At this juncture, it seems like we’ve “observed” everything about the Pixel 10 series, but a recent leak takes us in a more intriguing direction.

In a significant leak shared by Android Headlines, the site asserts it has acquired Google’s forthcoming pricing strategies for the Pixel 10 series. The rumored prices indicate that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will venture into the $2,000 range, reminiscent of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The site claims Google’s second-generation foldable will allegedly present a 256GB, 512GB, and a new 1TB variant priced at $1,799, $1,919, and $2,149, respectively.

The first two pricing (and storage) figures aren’t unprecedented; the original Pro Fold had similar pricing. However, if the speculations hold true, the 1TB option could genuinely push buyers beyond the $2,000 threshold. While it’s true the 512GB did the same upon its initial release, thanks to the existence of taxes, but I digress.

Out of the foldable and into the slab, speculations suggest that the Pixel 10 Pro XL will see its starting line slightly adjusted. The report asserts this device will completely discard its 128GB choice, which means its 256GB will start at $1,199, similar to 2024. Prices are then expected to escalate to $1,319 and $1,549 for its 512GB and 1TB options.

The outlet then explores the Pixel 10 Pro, indicating it might see the subsequent pricing:

– 128GB: $999
– 256GB: $1,099
– 512GB: $1,219
– 1TB: $1,449

The narrative up to now

The base Pixel 10 is expected to remain akin to its 9 series equivalent at $799 and $899 for its 128GB and 256GB models.

The rumors presented by the outlet seem to clash with an earlier rumor regarding the storage configurations of the Pixel 10 series. The discrepancy pertains only to the Pixel 10 Pro XL series and the possible elimination of its 128GB option. Earlier in the month, it was proposed that the device would keep the lower-end storage option; however, it may only be available in its Obsidian variant. That color option would offer 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, with the other colors being limited to 256GB and 512GB.

There is a possibility this could alter our perspective on its pricing, at least on the lower end, but we’ll have to wait for further developments.

A more recent leak today (July 30) suggests that Google’s Pixel 10 series might natively support the WPC’s Qi2 wireless charging magnets. While some devices, like Samsung’s Galaxy S25 phones, necessitate a case with the magnets (meaning the phones are only Qi2 Ready), Google’s Pixel 10 could take that additional step, becoming the first Android devices in the U.S. to fully support Qi2.

Rumors will likely persist for a while longer until Google’s official event, set for August 20.
