Lenovo’s AI Glasses V1, weighing merely 38 grams, are poised to take on prominent smart glasses such as those from Rokid. These glasses come equipped with 1.8 mm lenses and a 2,000-nit resin diffraction waveguide display, providing clear visuals even during head movements. Crafted for efficiency, they feature a teleprompter mode and can connect with a smart ring for hands-free operation. The glasses allow for up to 10 hours of usage in translation mode and achieve a full charge in 40 minutes. Driven by Lenovo’s Tianxi AI assistant, they enable voice commands and real-time translation, although some functionalities are exclusive to Android. While they lack an integrated camera, their lightweight construction positions them as a formidable player in the wearable technology sector. Currently up for preorder in China, their global launch is eagerly awaited.
