Lovable confirmed to TechCrunch that it surpassed $400 million in annual recurring revenue in February, though it declined to comment on its previous projection of reaching $1 billion by year-end, focusing instead on enhancing its platform for users. Aimed at simplifying website and app creation through vibe coding, Lovable is courting enterprise clients, already securing brands like Klarna and HubSpot. This strategy, paired with its “Earworm” campaign targeting mainstream users, supports its rapid rise to 8 million users and a unicorn status shortly after its launch. Its valuation reached $6.6 billion, fueled by potential enterprise partnerships. More than half of Fortune 500 companies are now clients, utilizing Lovable to enhance creativity. Growth is evident from ARR milestones: $100 million in July, $200 million in November, and $300 million in January. Although competing AI tools by Anthropic and OpenAI pose potential challenges, CEO Anton Osika remains confident. Recent usage spikes were attributed to promotions like the SheBuilds initiative on International Women’s Day, leading to 500,000 projects in one day. Meanwhile, with only 146 employees, Lovable plans to expand its workforce, leveraging its new Stockholm space for 300 people, while also hiring globally. Despite these expansions, the company’s ARR per employee remains well above industry norms, signaling strong financial health.
