Meta AI App Unveils ‘Vibes’ Feed Showcasing Remixable AI-Created Videos

If you’re enjoying these vibes, you might as well transform them into something unique.

Meta has announced a new “Vibes” feed in its AI application for users. Through Vibes, users will encounter a feed filled with AI-generated videos requested by others. As users engage with this feed, it will become increasingly “personalized,” with the option to “remix” videos produced by others. The Meta AI app debuted earlier this year, rebranding the “View app” to allow users without smart glasses to participate in the experience.

Meta has begun deploying an update for its AI app aimed at fostering a sense of community among all users. As outlined in a press release, the rollout of “Vibes” allows users to connect through an exclusively AI-generated video feed. The company describes this as an “early preview” of the feature, which is now available to all users. Vibes initiates as a straightforward feed where users can view videos generated by others using its AI software. Over time, as users watch more videos, Meta asserts that this Vibes feed will become “personalized.”

Within Vibes, users will have multiple options, including starting from their original ideas. Meta indicates that users can generate an AI-created video using their content. Furthermore, if you’re enjoying the Vibes, you can “remix” a video that someone else has requested the AI to produce and turn it into something unique. Prior to remixing, a pop-up menu will appear with options: Add Music, Change Image, and Change Animation.

The current options in Vibes might feel somewhat basic, but Meta claims it’s working on enhancing these features and options. The company has plans to introduce more “powerful creation tools” in the future.

Once you’re pleased with your remix or your original idea, users can publish it to the Vibes feed. You can also share your AI-generated video with others via DMs and cross-post that content to your Instagram or Facebook Stories or Reels.

As Vibes rolls out in the app, Meta states that users can also access this new feed through meta.ai.

Vibes joins Discover

Meta also emphasizes that its app is designed to integrate seamlessly with its AI glasses, suggesting compatibility with the new “enhanced” Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 glasses.

Meta’s ongoing commitment to the AI app as a useful tool for its smart glasses aligns with the app’s initial launch earlier this year. In summary, the “Meta AI app” is effectively a rebranded version of the Meta View app for its glasses. With this rebranding, individuals holding a Facebook or Meta account can engage with its Llama 4 model for inquiries. This initiative allows typical users, even without a pair of smart glasses, to take advantage of Meta’s AI capabilities.

This Vibes feed functions as the video counterpart to the app’s original Discover feed, which contains prompts created and shared by others. Similar to that feed, users can also “remix” those prompts (like videos) and transform them into something that’s uniquely yours.
