Meta’s new initiative aims to lure creators by guaranteeing monthly payments in exchange for posting Reels on Facebook.
Creators with 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn $1,000 monthly, while those with one million followers earn $3,000. To participate, creators must post at least 15 Reels on Facebook over 10 different days within 30 days. The content can be non-exclusive and include AI-generated material if original. Participants also gain immediate access to Facebook Content Monetization, securing continued earnings post-guarantee period.
In 2025, Facebook paid creators nearly $3 billion, up 35% from 2024. Reels accounted for 60% of this payout, with the remainder supporting various content types, offering creators flexibility beyond video. Facebook Content Monetization expanded from 2.7 million to 12 million participants within a year, reflecting a global trend.
New metrics are introduced to help creators better understand earnings: Qualified View metrics, Earnings Rate, and Non-Qualified Views breakdown.
