Meta Launches Creator Fast Track

2 Min Read

Meta’s Creator Fast Track program offers three months of guaranteed pay to established creators to build a following on Facebook, following a record $3 billion payout to creators in 2025. Despite its vast user base, Facebook struggles to attract creators focused on short-form video, who gravitate towards TikTok and YouTube. Meta’s new initiative aims to lure creators by guaranteeing monthly payments in exchange for posting Reels on Facebook.

Creators with 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn $1,000 monthly, while those with one million followers earn $3,000. To participate, creators must post at least 15 Reels on Facebook over 10 different days within 30 days. The content can be non-exclusive and include AI-generated material if original. Participants also gain immediate access to Facebook Content Monetization, securing continued earnings post-guarantee period.

In 2025, Facebook paid creators nearly $3 billion, up 35% from 2024. Reels accounted for 60% of this payout, with the remainder supporting various content types, offering creators flexibility beyond video. Facebook Content Monetization expanded from 2.7 million to 12 million participants within a year, reflecting a global trend.

New metrics are introduced to help creators better understand earnings: Qualified View metrics, Earnings Rate, and Non-Qualified Views breakdown. Creator Fast Track is a strategic move to diversify Facebook’s creator content, offsetting risk for established creators hesitant to invest time in a new platform. The initiative offers a trial period with guaranteed income, challenging creators to reconsider Facebook’s potential reach and monetization capabilities.
