The Ministry of Culture has chosen Naseej for Technology, a regional leader in digital transformation in learning, culture, and knowledge management, to enhance the Culture Portal and establish the Kingdom’s first Digitization Lab and Long-Term Digital Preservation Repository.
This significant initiative supports the Ministry’s mission to preserve Saudi heritage and promote a thriving cultural future in line with Vision 2030. It represents a key step in protecting Saudi Arabia’s cultural legacy through advanced digitization, ensuring accessibility and preservation for future generations.
This collaboration highlights the Ministry’s strategic role in digitizing Saudi cultural assets and securing their long-term preservation, reinforcing the Kingdom’s status as a regional leader in cultural innovation and sustainability.
Project Scope and Objectives
Under the agreement, Naseej will provide a comprehensive suite of consulting and technology services to advance the Ministry’s digital infrastructure for cultural governance and knowledge preservation. The project includes:
- Developing the Culture Portal Platform to serve as a unified gateway for Saudi cultural content, institutions, and initiatives.
- Delivering consulting services for building a central registry and developing policies and manuals for cultural heritage content management.
- Establishing and operating the long-term digital preservation repository to ensure sustainable archiving and access to digital assets.
- Developing and implementing a marketing and media strategy to promote cultural awareness and public engagement.

The project aligns with the Ministry’s strategic principles of Leading, Preserving, Promoting, and Supporting, supporting the national objectives of Vision 2030 to embed culture as a way of life, drive economic growth, and enhance global cultural exchange.
