Motorola has introduced its newest smartphone, the Edge 2025, which features a variety of cutting-edge functionalities and enhancements. The device showcases a 6.7-inch Super HD pOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, giving users improved clarity and a seamless visual experience. Driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip, the Edge 2025 is crafted to provide effective performance.
A notable highlight of the Edge 2025 is its artificial intelligence capabilities. The phone presents a new AI key that enables users to tap into Moto AI for tailored content recommendations and personalized playlists. The AI suite also encompasses features such as “Next Move” for smart suggestions, “Catch Me Up” for summarizing missed notifications, and “Remember This” for retaining crucial information from images.
The camera system on the Edge 2025 has undergone considerable enhancements. It includes a triple rear camera configuration featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens with Macro Vision, and a 10MP telephoto lens equipped with Super Zoom. The front camera has been upgraded to 50MP, ensuring vibrant and bright images even in dim lighting conditions.
Regarding durability, the Edge 2025 meets MIL-STD-810H standards, offering resilience against extreme temperatures, falls, and high-altitude environments. The device is also fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for better display protection.
The Edge 2025 is powered by a 5,200mAh battery, supporting 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging, granting users extended usage time. It includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, providing ample space for applications and media.
The Motorola Edge 2025 will be available for purchase starting June 5 for $549 at Best Buy, Amazon, and Motorola.com. It will also be offered through different carriers in the upcoming months, including T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. Canadian customers will be able to access the device on the same launch date.
