Leaked specifications reveal that the Razr Ultra 2026 isn’t getting thinner, which might be beneficial. Despite most flagship phones becoming slimmer over time, the upcoming 2026 Motorola Razr Ultra might be slightly bulkier than its predecessor. Leaked measurements from XpertPick and OnLeaks indicate it will be thicker than the 2025 version, approximately 0.1mm more when folded and 0.6mm more when unfolded.
The full dimensions of the Ultra 2026 are 171.3 x 74.1 x 7.8mm when unfolded and 88.0 x 74.1 x 15.8mm when folded. With the camera bump, the thickness could reach up to 9.6mm when unfolded or 17.63mm when folded.
A bit of extra bulk might lead to a better phone. In her review of the Ultra 2025, The Verge’s Allison Johnson noted it struggled to compete with other high-end phones, particularly due to inconsistent camera quality. If Motorola has made the Ultra 2026 slightly thicker to accommodate a camera upgrade or other enhancements, it might better compete with similarly priced slab-style phones.
