Nosh Robotics’ $1,500 Robot Chef Handles Dinner Solo

The Nosh One can automate your meals, but it faces competition from the Posha robo-chef. Anyone wishing to spend less time on meal prep might find a solution in the recently-launched Nosh One from Nosh Robotics, an AI kitchen appliance that cooks autonomously. Users simply load ingredients into the robot’s tray, select a recipe, and the Nosh One handles the rest. It adds ingredients, stirs, uses AI to monitor with a built-in camera, and completes the meal with no intervention needed. The app notifies when the meal is ready and allows recipe viewing, editing, and meal scheduling. Capable of making over 500 dishes, users can also create their own recipes via natural language. Available for pre-order on Kickstarter at $1,499, it ships this summer. Upgrades include extra accessories and a lifetime subscription to Culinary+, granting recipe access and creation abilities. The Verge reviewed Posha, a similar robot, last year, highlighting its identical design and price. However, the Nosh One differs with a fully sealed chamber, preventing splashes and fumes during cooking.
