The upcoming mid-range Phone 4A from Nothing features a new ‘Glyph Bar’ which is 40% brighter than the LED strip lights of the Phone 3A.
An official render reveals the device’s rear, showcasing Nothing’s familiar transparent-industrial design alongside the new Glyph Bar lighting feature located to the right of the triple camera island.
This Glyph Bar includes nine individually controllable mini-LEDs forming a line of seven square lights — six white and one red — replacing the previous three LED light strips around the camera on Nothing’s 3A devices. The Glyph Bar is reportedly 40% brighter and utilizes patented technology to provide a natural, neutral, and bleed-free glow.
Aside from confirming the Phone 4A series will run a Snapdragon chip, Nothing has shared little else. Full specifications, pricing, and availability may be announced upon the launch on March 5th. CEO Carl Pei confirmed there won’t be a Phone 4 this year, so the Phone 3 remains the flagship for now.
