How to play Pips
If you’ve played dominoes, you’ll have a basic understanding of Pips. The tiles, like dominoes, are placed vertically or horizontally and connect with each other. Unlike traditional dominoes, in Pips you must address color-coded conditions. The touching tiles don’t always have to match.
The conditions are specific to color-coded spaces. For instance, if it provides a single number, each side of a tile in that space must add up to it. Sometimes only half a tile will be within a color-coded space. Here are some common examples:
– Number: All pips in this space must add up to a specific number.
– Equal: Every domino half in this space must display the same number of pips.
– Not Equal: Every domino half must have a different number of pips.
– Less than: Every domino half must add up to less than the specified number.
– Greater than: Every domino half must add up to more than the specified number.
Uncolored areas have no conditions on domino portions within those spaces.
