OPPO’s latest smartphone, the Find X9 Pro, is officially set to feature a Hasselblad camera kit, marking an important partnership within the smartphone sector. This is the inaugural occasion a Pro variant will support the Hasselblad imaging kit, which has previously been limited to Ultra models. The kit will be available for purchase separately and is tailored specifically for smartphones, with Hasselblad directly involved in its design and customization.
The Hasselblad kit for the Find X9 Pro is anticipated to come with a magnetic grip for effortless attachment and a professional external telephoto converter, ensuring superior image resolution. The teleconverter will be compatible with the device’s 200MP telephoto camera, providing a reach akin to a 200mm lens.
Furthermore, imaging accessories are in development for the standard Find X9, which is speculated to showcase a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide, and a 50MP Samsung JN9 (or GN9) 3x telephoto. The Pro version is projected to feature a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP Samsung HP5 3x telephoto periscope.
The imaging kit is expected to debut in China alongside the Find X9 series this month and will roll out globally by late October. This collaboration with Hasselblad is intended to provide improved color science and professional-grade tuning, enhanced by OPPO’s AI-assisted image processing.
