The PL-R5 and PL-R5M Series by Japan-based PiLink are compact industrial PCs utilizing the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5), available with IP20 or IP65 ingress protection ratings.
The PL-R5 Series features a USB 3.0 port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 9V to 40V DC input. In contrast, the PL-R5M Series includes a USB 2.0 port, a 100 Mbps Ethernet port, an optional additional Gigabit Ethernet port, and a 10.7V to 28.8V DC input range. Both models offer optional WiFi 5 and Bluetooth, an M.2 B-Key socket for cellular connections, and optional RS-232, RS-485, I2C interfaces. The IP65 models come in Basic, Basic Plus (featuring 4x analog inputs, 4x DI/DO), and USB (3x USB ports) configurations. Additionally, the PL-R5 has a DIO CAN IP65 variant with two DI, two DO, and two CAN Bus interfaces. The IP20 variants offer even more options.
