Pixel Sense Rebranding to ‘Magic Cue’ on Pixel 10

Google is said to be further enhancing the branding of its AI assistant exclusive to Pixel. Originally unveiled as “Pixie” in 2023, the assistant was subsequently renamed “Pixel Sense” earlier this year. However, recent leaks indicate that Google is shifting toward the name “Magic Cue” for this functionality, which is set to be introduced with the Pixel 10 series.

As per a Telegram message from MysticLeaks, Magic Cue will offer immediate information and tailored recommendations by utilizing data from apps that users permit access to. The setup page for Magic Cue suggests it can comprehend screenshots, images, texts, and more, delivering insights and efficiency-boosting actions without the need for manual input.

Magic Cue aims to serve as a more intimate AI assistant, capable of retrieving information such as flight numbers from Gmail when requested in Messages. Users will be required to opt-in and designate which apps can provide data to Magic Cue. Despite privacy apprehensions, Google assures that the information gathered by the AI will stay private and only accessible to the user.

As Google persists in refining this AI assistant, it remains uncertain how Magic Cue will operate on Pixel devices. The feature is expected to debut with the Pixel 10, potentially as soon as August.
