Insomniac Games’ upcoming superhero game has a confirmed release date. Marvel’s Wolverine, the next title from the creators of Marvel’s Spider-Man, is set to launch on PS5 on September 15th. The announcement follows a long wait since Insomniac first revealed the project in 2021. Last year, Sony hinted at a fall 2026 release, accompanied by a graphic gameplay trailer. According to its PlayStation Store listing, the game features Wolverine seeking to uncover the secrets of his dark past, leading him to dangerous destinations like Madripoor, the Canadian wilderness, and the streets of Tokyo, offering intense combat scenes. In addition to Wolverine, Sony is also releasing Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a fighting game, on August 6th.
