The new solar-powered floodlight camera from Reolink is now on the market. Introduced at CES earlier this year, the Solar Floodlight Camera is priced at $109.99 but can be purchased at a launch price of $87.99. Unlike many other floodlight cameras, which require hardwiring and can be difficult to install, this camera can be mounted anywhere. It features a 7,800mAh battery that can last three months without sunlight, yet just one hour of sunlight can power it for a day.

The camera offers a 2K HD resolution, a 150-degree field of view, 1000-lumen floodlights, and a 110dB siren. It provides full-color night vision and 33 feet of infrared coverage. With built-in AI detection, users receive smart alerts for people, vehicles, and animals. It can also be integrated with Reolink’s new AI hub for features like video search and event descriptions.

Reolink’s advantages include local storage via a microSD card, eliminating subscription fees for viewing footage and providing free smart alerts. The cameras are compatible with Reolink’s Home Hub and NVR systems. The floodlight camera supports 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi 6 and works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa via the Reolink app.

Though not the first of its kind, with TP Link’s Tapo and Anker’s Eufy offering similar products, Reolink also provides a 360-degree pan-and-tilt wired floodlight camera with 4K resolution and 3,000 lumens of light for $300.

The Reolink Solar Floodlight Camera can be bought on Reolink.com and Amazon for $87.99.
