It appears to be a tougher follow-up to the Move 2.

An unannounced Sonos speaker named Play has been spotted on the Canadian Best Buy website. The Sonos Play resembles a smaller version of the Move 2, featuring a loop on the back for easy carrying. Although not yet confirmed, it is priced at CAD $399.99 and expected to be released on March 31, 2026. It supports Wi-Fi for multi-room Sonos setups with up to 32 speakers, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, it includes an aux input for connecting to a turntable or other audio devices.

The Best Buy listing highlights Trueplay, which automatically adjusts sound according to the environment. Unlike the Move, the Play is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, similar to the Sonos Roam. It boasts a battery life of 24 hours and comes with a wireless charging base, and it can also serve as a power bank to charge your phone via USB-C.

If the release date is correct, Sonos is likely to officially unveil this speaker soon.
